A lifetime warranty on every OMW deck
Every OMW deck comes with a lifetime warranty. This applies across our electric skateboard range, rather than being an extra reserved for selected models.
We can make that commitment because of how we design and manufacture our composite decks. Carbon fiber, fiberglass reinforcement and epoxy work together in a layered structure. By controlling how those layers are arranged and cured, we build strength into a deck that can still flex beneath the rider.
Strength comes from materials working together
Calling a deck "carbon fiber" tells you only part of the story. In OMW's composite construction, different fibers have different jobs, and the epoxy binds them into a structure that carries the rider's load.

The combination and placement of these materials determine how the finished deck behaves. A carbon-fiber label alone cannot tell you how a deck will ride.
The arrangement of the layers matters
OMW lays up the reinforcement with epoxy and cures the assembly under heat and pressure. The aim is to create a bonded structure in which the layers share the load.
We adjust fiber direction, layer count and the distribution of reinforcement to achieve the intended flex. Reinforcement has to work where the deck carries tension, bends and twists; its position matters as much as the material itself.
The layup is tuned for each deck design. Its reinforcement layout controls how the deck responds to your weight and the forces applied during a ride; the models do not need an identical arrangement.
Flex does not mean the deck is weak
When an OMW deck bends beneath you, you are feeling movement that is part of its design. That movement helps absorb road vibration and contributes to the ride feel.
Stiffness and load capacity describe different things. Stiffness describes resistance to bending; load capacity describes the load a particular deck is designed to support. A softer feel does not, by itself, mean a lower weight limit.
For a rider, the practical distinction is simple: choose the flex feel you prefer within your model's specified rider limit. Do not use how stiff a deck feels as a substitute for its load rating. The lifetime deck warranty applies across OMW's range, not only to the stiffest deck options.
Why we are willing to back the deck for life
We design the deck to carry normal riding loads while providing the flex intended for that board. Backing it with a lifetime warranty means we also accept responsibility for eligible deck defects under our warranty terms.
Severe impacts, deep edge damage and overloading can still damage a composite deck. Our lifetime commitment covers eligible deck defects under the warranty; it is not an assurance that the deck will survive every impact.
What the warranty means for you
All OMW decks have lifetime warranty coverage for the original purchaser, subject to the published warranty terms. This is deck coverage; other parts of the electric skateboard have their own warranty periods.
The warranty provides eligible replacement parts rather than a replacement of the entire board. Accidental damage, misuse and normal wear fall outside its coverage. The policy also explains other exclusions, including improper assembly and unauthorized modification or repair.
If you notice deck damage
Stop riding if you find a crack or visible separation between layers. Email support@omwboards.com with the email address used for your order, a description of the issue and clear photos or video. Include your board identification code when contacting us about a complete OMW board.
Our team will assess the issue and help you with the next step. For an eligible warranty claim, OMW supplies the affected replacement parts and covers their shipping under the policy.
