  • Inspect belts, wheels and bearings: Regularly check your belts, wheels and bearings for signs of wear or damage. Replace any worn or damaged components to ensure a smooth and safe ride.
  • Replace grip tape regularly: Worn or damaged sandpaper can compromise your grip while riding. Replace the sandpaper regularly to ensure optimal safety and traction.

  • Avoid riding in wet conditions: Riding your electric skateboard in rain or snow is not recommended. Wet surfaces can be slippery and increase the risk of accidents. Water can also damage the skateboard's components and reduce performance.

  • Keep your skateboard dry and at a normal temperature: Avoid exposing your skateboard to extreme temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius or below 0 degrees Celsius. High heat can be detrimental to the components, so it's best to store your skateboard in a dimly lit area like a closet or garage. Temperature has an impact on the capacity and power output of the battery. When riding your skateboard in the middle of winter, the surrounding air temperature can lower the battery's performance. However, there's no need to worry too much as the higher performance will return in the spring when warmer days arrive. It's important to keep in mind that extreme temperatures can affect the overall performance of the battery.
  • Proper battery storage: If you use your skateboard infrequently, charge the battery to around 40-50% capacity before storing it. Avoid fully charging it to 100% or letting it discharge completely. Even during periods of non-use, check the battery level monthly to prevent it from discharging below the recoverable threshold. Failure to maintain the battery during long-term storage may result in the need for battery replacement, which is not covered by the OMW warranty.
  • Avoid overcharging the battery: It's important not to leave your skateboard charging overnight or for extended periods. Overcharging can generate excess heat and reduce the overall lifespan of the battery. Charge the battery until the indicator light turns green and then disconnect the charger.
  • Allow the battery to cool down: After a ride, wait for approximately 30 minutes before charging the battery. Allowing the battery to cool down helps maintain its optimal performance and extends its longevity.
  • Purchase chargers from official channels: To ensure compatibility and safety, always buy chargers from authorized and official channels.

Shipping

We offer complimentary delivery services for electric skateboards and parts orders within the continental USA.

For our customers in Canada and Hawaii, please be aware that additional fees or customs duties may apply, for which you will be responsible. The exact shipping costs will be provided during the checkout process. For parts orders within Canada, there is a fixed shipping fee of USD $5.

*Please note that in the case of international parts shipments, customs authorities in the destination country may impose specific tariffs.

For orders of electric skateboards shipped within the contiguous United States and HI, there are no additional customs duties to be paid because they are already included in the price.

For Canadian customers ordering electric skateboards, the shipping costs do not include the necessary duties and fees, so Canadian customs will charge these fees during the customs clearance process.

For parts orders, please note that customs duties may apply. The specific duties for parts will be determined by the customs authorities and will vary based on the value of the items.

If you need to change your shipping address after placing your order, we will do our best to accommodate your request. If your order has not been submitted to the shipping carrier or freight forwarder, we will contact them on your behalf to make the necessary changes. However, if your order has already been processed and submitted for shipping, we regret that we are unable to modify the address directly.

In some cases, we recommend reaching out to the official UPS/FedEx customer service to inquire about changing your address. Please be aware that these carriers may charge an additional fee for the address change service, and there is a small possibility that your shipment could be lost during the process. It's important to note that any losses or issues arising from address changes are not the responsibility of our company.

As an Electric Skateboard Company, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes, Military Bases, or temporary accommodation addresses in the USA. We require a physical street address for delivery to ensure the safe and trackable shipment of your package. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and kindly suggest providing an alternative address for your delivery.

The official shipping policy listed on our website states that electric skateboards require a signature upon delivery. This policy is in place to ensure the safe and secure delivery of your package. We prioritize the protection of your valuable purchase and want to provide you with peace of mind throughout the shipping process. When your electric skateboard is delivered, the carrier will require a signature from you or an authorized individual at the delivery address. This helps us ensure that your package reaches you without any issues.

For some orders, you may receive multiple packages. If you have ordered an electric skateboard along with additional parts, they may be shipped separately. Please note that the parts may be shipped after your skateboard has been delivered and signed for.
