Warranty Coverage
The warranty begins on the day your package is delivered.
- Lifetime Warranty: All OMW carbon decks are backed by a lifetime warranty.
- 12-Month Warranty: OMW boards enjoy a 12-month warranty, including the charger, truck, remote, battery, ESC, motor, and wheel hub.
- 6-Month Warranty: When individual parts (such as the charger, truck, remote, battery, ESC, or motors) are purchased separately, they include a 6-month warranty.
After-Sales Support
If you experience an issue with your electric skateboard, we are happy to help diagnose and resolve it.
Please contact our support team at support@omwboards.com and provide the following details to help us quickly identify the problem:
- The email address used to place your order
- The unique identification code of your eboard
- A detailed description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos that can help our team analyze the problem
If your board is still under warranty, OMW will provide free replacement parts and free shipping for the affected components. If the warranty period has expired, the cost of parts and shipping will apply.
If the issue persists after diagnosis, our team will continue to assist you in finding and supplying the correct replacement parts until the problem is fully resolved.
Please note: Returns are not accepted for used products, except in extreme cases. In such cases, customers are responsible for shipping costs and a minimum 30% depreciation and restocking fee.
Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered under the warranty:
1. Improper Tire Inflation
Please inflate the tire pressure to reach the recommended value before each ride. Failure to follow this instruction may cause damage to the tire and inner tube, which is not covered by the warranty.
2. Normal Wear and Tear
Items that naturally wear down with regular use are excluded from warranty coverage. These include: Bearings, belts, tubes, tires, bushings, grip tape, and wheels.
3. Water Damage & Misuse
OMW eboards are rated IP55–IP56, providing limited resistance to splashes and dust. Riding through puddles, in heavy rain, or submerging the board in water can cause water intrusion and damage internal components.
- Such damage is not covered by warranty.
- The internal indicator label will turn red if water has entered the board.
- Riding in wet conditions also increases the risk of losing traction and should be avoided.
4. User-Caused or Unauthorized Damage
The warranty is void if the product shows signs of:
- Abuse, misuse, accidents, or negligence
- Unauthorized modification or repair
- Improper assembly or maintenance
- Failure to follow the user manual instructions
- Prolonged high-power battery use without timely recharging
5. Free Gifts or Promotional Items
Complimentary or promotional items are not covered under warranty.
6. Product Replacement
The warranty covers replacement of defective parts only. A full eboard replacement is not included.
7. Ownership Limitation
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Second-hand or resold boards are not covered.
